Shaq and Kobe - Round 4

Generally mid-season NBA games are as interesting as another sunny day in LA. But last night, it was Shaq/Kobe IV, the fourth meeting of the two since the blockbuster trade of Shaq in the summer of 2004.

This time, Kobe and the Lakers came away with a win and more importantly, Shaq and Kobe appeared to put aside their "feud" for now. While you can never count out Shaq in a verbal jab now and then, a pre-game handshake and "man-hug" between the two former teammates will definitely slow down the media circus that surrounds these games.

Kobe Bryant continued his All-Star play with 37 points but he had great contributions from Lamar Odom, Devean George and Chris Mihm plus an enthusiastic dunk by rookie Andrew Bynum, as Bynum spun around Shaq and gleefully slammed home a basket.

So after a disappointing loss in Portland, they have beaten Cleveland, Golden State and Miami. Let's see how they do on their road trip but maybe basketball will be fun to watch as this year goes on
